Homecoming Dance (slightly foreward-dated?)
Characters: Anyone who found a date or decided to go anyway.
What: HOMECOMING DANCE!
Where: School's ... um... big open enclosed place, like a gym or an auditorium.
When: Friday, Nov. 7th, starting at 8pm. (Forward dated?)
Rating: PG, at best, since it's going to be chaperoned.
All of the decorations were bright and in place. A small, elevated stage was standing in the middle of the room complete with a drum set (which is awkward to move around) and a DJ's table (ditto. All the other instruments the band members must bring themselves.) Around that table was a large hardwood floor on which attendees to dance. The rest of the area featured nicely-laid carpet and a multitude of round, fancy tables and chairs for attendees to sit at should they tire of dancing at any point.
The lights were dimmed, and laser lights danced about the walls in an endless ray of colors. Music was quietly playing from the speakers in a loop, ranging from slow music to heavy rock to dance until the first band to preform shows up to do their gig. A table of munchies was set up on the left side of the building.
The doors are officially open. Enjoy!
