It took a while for the robot to finally break the Smash Ball floating above his head, but a good final swipe of his mechanical arms did the trick. Just as mentioned, his body started to glow.

"...what a strange power..." ROB whispered to himself, staring at the glowing clamps.

ROB slid up to the Sandbag, wondering how this would work. How does he activate his final smash? Must he turn on his jets? Or maybe get out one of his gyros?

Or maybe...

ROB tried to fire his lazer beam, but something odd happened. The robot felt a surge of energy throughout his entire metallic body. With a quick reflexive spin of his head, a sharp lazer shot out, hitting Sandbag and sending him a short distance away.

That wasn't all this had to offer, though. Even after the initial lazer was shot, the pink beams of radiation continued to esacpe ROB's eyes in a swirling pattern. of course, the poor robot had no idea what this meant.

"O-O-O-Oh dear! I cannot turn them off!" the panicked bot said, moving his head around in an attempt to see what was going on. His vision was blurred with pink, so he could barely see what he was doing.

...yet he could still move around. This was very strange, since he observed that most final smashes made their users unable to move about. ROB moved back and forth, turn, even do a basic attack while this beam was still going strong.

PEW! Another sharp beam esacped his eyes, hitting Sandbag again, before going back to it's mass of swirling beams.

ROB got the idea. He slowly approached the sack of sand, and the swirling beams automatically hit it. When he got close enough, he grabbed it and drilled it into the ground, before finally smacking it a fair distance with a smash attack.

It was then that the beams in his eyes died down. When it finally all dissipitated, ROB felt like he had no energy left. He slouched over, his eyes now full of green static.

"... that.." he whispered, "... was quite an experience..."
