Yet another excuse for Surge to laugh at Goose's misfortune

What: Surge actually acts like a nice boyfriend and visits Goose in attempts to help him cure his hang-over.

Surge absentmindedly tossed the bottle of pills up and down as he walked up the steps to Goose's apartment. Staying true to his word, Surge had written down a note the previous night to remind himself to grab the bottle before he left his apartment. He had a feeling Goose probably would have taken some already, but the lieutenant promised he would bring some, so he did. Besides, what if the pilot had ran out or couldn't find any? Although the probability of those happening were slim, Surge liked to be prepared. And being 'the savior with the pain relief medicine' couldn't hurt either.
Knocking gently on the door, he called out, "Hey, it's me." He briefly wondered if Goose had puked at all the previous night. Considering the gibberish the younger man had spouted yesterday, it wouldn't have surprised the lieutenant. Actually, Surge was somewhat curious as to how the spiderbird had taken to her master's odd behavior. Knuckle Joe was weirded out just by talking to Goose online, no doubt the pet could tell that something was up. Oh well, just another thing to check on.
To be honest, he half blamed himself for not making sure Goose was alright last night. Of course Goose was allowed to go out and drink with anyone he pleased unless it was Rawk Hawk or Ganondorf or--alright, so maybe not anyone but he felt a little bad that he didn't accompany the other man. Surge knew from experience just what a light-weight the pilot was. That combined with the fact that the other had no concept of his own limits spelled disaster. Letting out a sigh, the lieutenant decided what was done was done, and that all he could do now was help Goose overcome his hang-over.
