PK Mindrape [OPEN]
Who: Lucas, Knuckles, and anybody who wants their thoughts overheard
What: Mind-reading practice! Oh boy!
Where: SBG Cafeteria.
When: Thurs, Oct. 2. Noon.
Rating: G, unless somebody's thinking naughty thoughts.
Lucas didn't have anything against Nancy's cooking even though his omelettes left something to be desired, but he barely touched his lunch today. He had butterflies in his stomach, and he wasn't quite sure if it was because he was excited to try out his mind-reading or nervous. He was sure he could do it -- he had plenty of experience talking to animals, even though he'd never tried it on humans. Depending on whether Knuckles was in gijinka form or not, you could argue echidnas counted as animals, so it'd be even easier for him. On the other hand, though... after what had happened with the dogs and crows, he'd been a little hesitant about their eco-terrorism protests. On top of that, Lucas was still uncertain about the ethics of probing into other people's private thoughts.
It didn't seem to bother Ninten too much, though, and... Lucas had to admit he was maybe just a little bit curious about what other people thought about in their free time. The lunch lineup was a long one; it might be a while before he met Knuckles, but... maybe it wouldn't hurt to warm up a little. Maybe he'd be able to sense Knuckles coming or something. Lucas glanced around guiltily, as if expecting somebody to read his mind and frown disapprovingly at his plans. Nobody was looking at him, so... he shut his eyes and relaxed, letting his mind drift out like an unclenching fist.
