Greetings, Creative! It's me again... ;A;
Unfortunately, I don't really have any art for you. Just a suggestion. How do you guys feel about a COMMUNITY ART PROJECT?
No, I haven't gotten clearance from the mods yet, but I'm not really sure if I'm going through with it just yet... I haven't really told anyone about this idea yet. Considering I just thought of it this morning.
HERE'S HOW TA ORDAH WHAT I HAVE IN MIND...
As lovely as the current capslock_sbg header is, personally, I think it's time for a change. There's a very very large handful of dropped characters on there, the giant "DESKSEX" makes it a little NSFW, and a lot of people got their characters left out...
So what I'm thinking of is replacing it with something along these lines. Everyone draws their own characters (one of them, two of them, all of them) at a similar size and I will splice them all together into one MEGA PICTURE OF AWESOME. Possibly kitty tea party themed to make it more capslock-y.
Here's a few speed-bumps I'm running into in my head:
- This may end up being way too complicated or taking a super super long time (and I'd hate to put a deadline on it...) ( Solved? / Loose deadline?)
- Members who can't/don't draw. (Solved?: Volunteers / ~CRAYON DRAWINGS~)
- Members who like the header how it is now...?
One problem I thought I'd have, I solved pretty quickly:
What about when a member drops one of their characters, or gets a new one and wants it in there?
This one's pretty simple- combine them all in Photoshop and keep a .psd file of the picture (which keeps the layers) and just edit out/in layers whenever anyone drops/adds.
SO... WHAT DO YOU THINK? AM I CRAZY?
And because I feel bad for not posting any art on a Creative post, here's a comic that is not SBG-related but has SBG characters in it.
