WHAT UP INDEED!?monotreme_101September 28 2011, 01:23:58 UTC
And of course, one person who is always running from one end of campus to another is Knuckles. So, he can't help but spot her in his travels at some point. Of course - she's reading. Well, that's fairly predictable. But it also looks as though she has a large stick of some sort. Hmm. CURIOUS!
He stops in his questing for a moment to say hello to his favorite white haired loli bookworm.
"'Sup Vianca! Whatcha reading there and why do you have that stick? You learning how to use a staff?"
Of course, he meant like... a weapon type staff. The kind you hit people with. In a non magical way.

Vianca was not entirely surprised to see that the Echidna had stopped by at some point. It was just one of those things that tended to happen. She lifted her book slightly so he could see the cover. It was a text detailing invocations. Ooh. Mysterious.
The pikmin also glanced over at the staff besides her and nodded her head, completely unaware of what he had meant exactly. The misconception probably made for an amusing mental image, however.
EVERYTHING IS UP? WE BETTER BUY SOME UMBRELLAS.monotreme_101September 28 2011, 03:47:28 UTC
"...incantations, huh? Interesting."
Mostly because he had no idea what that was.
"I know a trick or two with a staff. Not a weapon I've used a LOT, but easy enough. Can I take a look?" he asked, peering now at the staff. It was... a funny shape for a weapon. And short, too. But then again, she WAS kind of small. And maybe the fact that she was a plant gave her some kind of awesome control over the powers of wood?? WHO KNEW. Not him.
YEAH THAT LAKE IS GONNA COME DOWN AT SOME POINTwhitetoxinSeptember 28 2011, 04:51:50 UTC
A weapon? Vianca blinked. Perhaps Knuckles was the sneaky sort that knew some dark magic spells and Vianca had never known. She wasn't very sure if this particular staff could do those sorts of things, but she wasn't exactly well versed in this.
So after a moment's consideration she reluctantly nodded. Here you were, Knuckles. Please be careful with it.
There is now a puppy perched on Vianca's stack of books, propping himself up on the top to get a good look at her. He just saw her out here on the bench all by herself, which is, of course, puppy-speak for 'I have nothing to do and will play with you.'
[Aaaaahh what do you do with a puppy. At least it wasn't a cat. And that she wasn't an itty bitty pikmin at the moment.
Vianca stared at the puppy a bit more now that he was barking at her, lifting her brows just slightly. Oh. Hm. Perhaps this was like with Gamera. Headpats worked well with him, maybe...
So very slowly (veryyyyy slowlyyyy), Vianca lifted her hand and inched it towards the top of Chibi's head. DON'T... BITE...]
[Whoa. That would make a fantastic candid shot. Sure, he doesn't have any story in mind for it, but it would make the perfect attachment when he thought of something.
For now he's just going to make a wide circle around her, trying to get as many angles and lighting situations as possible.]
[This is normally Red's bench. But now there's a girl sitting on there who he's never seen before. She's reading and Red doesn't want to disturb her. On the other hand, Red likes this bench.

In fact, that stick looks quite enticing...]

Oh hello. You were... certainly a puppy... Vianca didn't know what to do with this puppy. So she stared back at it.
Hello. Puppy.]

After a few moments of this, Chibi jumped down from his perch on the books and came around to put his little paws on her legs, barking twice.
Chibi just wants to be friends, silly!]

Hello, Vianca! [And she scoots the stack of books aside and takes a seat next to her sister.]

[Ai picks up one of the books and flips through it. But she doesn't read any of it. That would be silly.]
