Reviews and an excuse to use the icon XD
Ok so I have three shows I need to post my little spiel for....
I didnt really give desperate housewives a proper one, so here goes:
I thought it was very interesting. That can be good or bad, I still haven't decided myself...I did like the way Tom trapped Kayla into admitting what she did. It took the jerk long enough though. Why in the world wouldn't he listen to his wife? She's a good person. As for Gabby, I'm guessing they got to keep the money? Good for them. They deserve a fresh start. As for Bree, I can't wait to see why she took Orson back. I love those two together. I'm glad she at least seems to find happiness. Where was Benjamin in the 5 years later bit? We saw Andrew, but not his little brother or Danielle. Weird. But yea...Bree was acting kinda strangely during the entire episode, but I guess I can agree with her. Her husband was acting pretty stalkerish. As for Katherine, I'm so glad her secret wasn't bad. I knew in my heart that she was a good person...or maybe I just have a thing for not wanting pretty people to be evil XD..either way, her secret was definitely not the worst thing on wisteria lane and for that im glad. Im glad she was finally at poker as well. Ellie walking in on the holdup was a little too convenient. It was not at all believable and I hate that that pretty much means that Ellie was nothing more than a plot aid the entire time. She served no real purpose than to be around to get shot so that Wayne could frame Katherine...Bree butting in was more believable, as thats the exact type of thing Bree would do, something impulsive and bordering rude. Dont get me wrong, I love Bree, she just doesnt know how to let things go XD...but its ok...all was right at the end and i was so proud of her when she teamed up the housewives to aid Katherine's story. As for the five years later bit...that just means the writers dug themselves into a hole...they got writer's block and panicked, deciding they couldnt work with what theyd built up...so instead they put it five years in the future for next season which means they dont have to worry about consistency because it is virtually nonexistent over the course of five years...especially on a street like wisteria where five minutes could be inconsistent XD.
Next comes house...
OMG I havent watched house since the second or third season. I went off to school and didnt get cable, so i just let the show drop, not realizing i could get episodes on the internet. At any rate, i heard about Cuddy's little dance so I had to watch last week's....and it was totally worth it XD she was amazing! but anyways, they pretty much gave me no choice but to watch this week's episode. I barely know the characters anymore and I still cried. I love how house behaved. He was so sweet and gentle...saw a bit of house/wilson in that ep XD...no, in all seriousness, he really went out of his way to prove what wilson means to him as a friend. he put his own life in danger to figure out what was wrong with amber...but the worst part is, that could have almost meant losing both of them, as we discover amber was going to die anyway....what if house had died just to find out amber was going to die? *shudders* that would be so awful! anyways...the part that killed me was wilson's goodbye, from then on, i was crying...that was a good ten minute cry right there. well after my computer finally stopped being a jerk (it decided to freeze right as he told amber she was dying)...anyways i was crying so hard, especially when they all said goodbye...they were kinda bitchy beforehand, arguing about whether or not they liked her...HELLO she was dying, whats it matter? get over yourselves, you still knew her and you owe it to wilson...anyways, thank god they stopped being childish and said their goodbyes. well not really said, more like walked in, nodded sadly and left...ah well, couldnt really expect to much out of them, could we? i loved it when cuddy was beside house, curled up in the chair, sleeping. Shes so cute and so sweet. I really hope he starts to appreciate her more for it. However, as if we werent sad enough already, we find out that next season, they plan to kill 13! yay!...or at least that is my assumption, since she has huntington's...my theory? each season they will kill off people one by one until house dies in the series finale XD...but that could just be my cynicism talking....
And finally, Doctor Who
So how bout that ep! It went from Noir to Murder She Wrote to freaky sci-fi flick. It was fantastic! I loved how he flirted with Agatha and she totally flirted back...very cute. Anyways, Donna kissing him..is that some new privilege of companions? if so, sign me up! have you noticed, he hasnt had a real kiss...theres always been extenuating circumstances...well at least with the main women...all his women on the side were proper kisses XD...who could forget Astrid? well maybe not XD...but I digress...it was really weird how they did the whole wasp thing...but i loved that there were two criminals instead of one....and i love that they kinda made fun of the whole noir business...and the random gay guy was pretty humorous as well...but it was kinda obvious, at least to me, that it was the priest all along. I mean, come on, its Doctor Who, flipping the world upside down...so of course the most innocent person is going to be the guilty one! the fact that he was a priest was just an added bonus XD...plus it fit the whole noir theme...you know, the person you least expect...except that i knew...so it didnt work on me...haha im starting to sound like the Doctor now! XD at any rate, I really hope they dont take the Donna kiss thing any further...it was nice to have a companion that didnt want to get in his pants...besides, we all know hes meant to be with rose...as for the next episode, is it just me or does that look like the library they used in the Pagemaster?
oh and an inconsistency in the ep...they said the thieves came in the middle of the night, right? well in the flashback, the sun was shining brightly through the window, like it was really obvious it wasnt night XD o well...its Doctor who, we can forgive....maybe...
