(no subject)
OMG I JUST MET LILY TOMLIN!
Ok so here's how it went
We went to her show on campus which was HYSTERICAL! And that woman has so much freakin energy! It's awesome. She's great. And totally adorable.
Afterwards, we hung around a bit to see if she would sign autographs. Security told us no.
So we were leaving when we noticed a group of a few dykes and a couple other people milling around the door where she might leave through. And we decided to go see if they knew what was going on. Needless to say it became a run around the building to see where she might come from XD...
Well their group separated a bit and somehow two of them ended up inside and were like "She's in there! Signing autographs in the aisles"
So instead of going around where the doors might be locked, we went back through the backstage door and down over the stage. Security wasn't happy, but they didn't do anything because Lily was totally chill about it XD
So I GOT A PICTURE WITH HER. And then I got her autograph!
And I was like OMG and I was totally laughing and kinda crazy. And she had moved on to sign other autographs. And she came back to me and clutched my hand and asked me if I was alright. And she was like "I'm going to break it to you, you're my long lost daughter." And then she hugged me and she kissed my forehead.
And so my roommate and I hung around a bit more. She signed more autographs and she glanced over at us because we were giggling and being silly and she goes "Reminds me of me and Meryl."
So yea she came back over to my roommate and I again and asked if everything was alright, if we were good, clutched my hand AGAIN. I apologized a little for my behavior, said I'd never met one of my heroes before. And she looked me square in the eye and said "I'm no hero, but thank you." And she asked my name and said she'd be thinking of me.

She's just too sweet! People say you shouldn't meet your heroes because they'll disappoint, but she didn't!!!! She's just as amazing as I thought she would be!
And now I need to go die in fangirl bliss XD
