Woo buddy!

School is such a hoot. Went to Auburn this weekend and watched State absolutely get their butts whipped. I played 6th bass drum and it was so damn heavy. I didn't think it was that bad just carrying it, but when we were marking time to warm up my lower back was on fire. Definitely have more respect now for the folks that carry the big drums.
Doing pretty well in my classes... This semester is flying by. I managed to ace my second organic test as well, so maybe it isn't just dumb luck... hehe. I enjoy writing computer programs too. I'm such a nerd.. I carry a TI-86, a TI-89, and a laptop around with me every day. Funtimes.
Theta Tau is going well. It's a bit more challenging than I figured it would be being social chair and trying to plan events all the time, but it's been a success so far. My little brother is also super duper and the hammer is easier than I remember so that's awesome.
Being an officer in Prevet club and Engineering Student Council also keeps me really busy, but I'd rather have it that way. ESC is really doing a lot of good stuff this year, and we're making the council much more productive which is fantastic.
I'm going home this weekend for the first time so I can go to Ellen's wedding (friend at work). It will be good to go home and see my folks and brother and also to get my winter clothes! In the couple months since I came up it has gotten distinctly colder and I really need some more clothes. It's not such a big deal going home now that I have an apartment, however, since I have a shower and bed to myself regardless now. It will still be good, though.
Alright.. I think I'm back to homework now. I was doing statics problems for 6 or 7 hours earlier and was about to shoot myself, but I've a got a couple more of those to do in addition to cal, physics, and a program to write. SO much fun being an engineer. I've got my schedule made for next semester: thermodynamics, physics III, cal IV, cell biology, engineering mechanics II (dynamics), and biosystems simulation. Woohoo. Talk about sweet.
