Funtimes...
I love college. So fantastic. On that front, everything is going well. My classes are good for the most part, a little boring sometimes, but overall just fine. Band is going excellently well and we have 3 shows (including pregame) now on the field. Drumline was getting a little dirty, but Mr. Mangum came and got us back on the right track. I'm looking forward to the Union show :D
I've been seeing Jason a bit. Hehe. He's so great.... Went last night at 11:30 to finish up the second half of the Godfather II and didn't make it back til after 4... Needless to say I was a little tired today, but it was quite worth it... hah... But at any rate...
Now I'm on the homefront. I figured I'd come home since there isn't much to do in the old Starkville when no one's around. I drove home with Justin, which was nice, because he kept me awake and plus it was nice to have someone to talk to. I came home and got a warm reception from my folks, and promptly headed off to the old football game. We lost 33-0, so good to know things don't change. Band seems less disciplined than it was even last year... Not as bad as I thought on their one song, though :) I played with bass a little bit, and the drumline was rough.. Cadences sound like poo. Got to say hey to everyone and that was cool, but I'm reminded how glad I am to be at State. I love it so much.
Anyway, turns out folks will be here tomorrow... so it will be nice to actually talk to them and see them for a bit before they go up to Oxford on Sunday. I am also incredibly looking forward to my large, soft bed... and my large, hot, high pressure shower. *Sigh*. There are a couple definite perks of being home :)
