Incredible happiness!

Yes.. after the last post, I'm delighted to say that everything is wonderful in my house. I think my parents realized they were perhaps being a little harsh, and the next day they were nice and everything was back to normal. I even got a note from my Dad that was super sweet... "We, who love you so much we can't express, we, are the negatives in your life. We represent our past, our burden. You are our joy. And despite our paltry efforts to tell you that. Remember that." So nice. I love my family.. I really do.. it's just sometimes they get stupid.
But yeah. That night I had a good time at Life Night and was amused to finally get the drugs are bad speech, now that I'm in my seventeenth year of living. Hehe. Twas my first time going through the actual motions of hearing the pros and cons.. Drugs are bad... they hurt your body. New information...
I suppose that was last Sunday? I think... I lose track of time but I think that is correct. This week I have been busy busy with work and spending time with friends and doing other stuff. I work at Bienville Animal Medical Center, and it is so great. I absolutely love the people there and I am learning so much. I think the experience is immeasurably valuable. I am pleased to say I am getting better at placing catheters (:D go me!), and can do all of the other tech stuff. Animal restraint is the only thing that I'm having a bit of trouble with.. but that's only when I have to do the odd stuff like hold for a jug stick in a bad cat... Anyway, it's honestly great. They are long days, but each day is different and challenging.
I have been going to "Catholic Club" a lot lately, and I really enjoy it and the people there. I like being part of an actual youth group, and I really like the people, so it's fun. The other day, I discovered a super cool talent. I'm so excited! I can take my shoulders if my hands are behind my back and rotate them so that my hands end up in front of me. So wonderful. I played human jump rope with myself and started with my hands in front of me, stepped through them, and then swung them over my head so they were back in their original spot and did it in 4 seconds! I'm such a retard... Anyway. It was fun. That night we went and visited the good ole tree in Gulf Islands. I love that tree so much. We had 4 people on the limb so when we fell back I was literally having to pull myself up so I wouldn't be on the ground. Lots of momentum... it was great. Then we amused ourselves on the playground equipment. Hah. This was me, Angelina, Jared, Ashleigh, and Greg, and Meg, by the way. It was a hoot.
I rejoined this group yesterday (all except Ashleigh) and we hung out at my house and swam, ate pizza, watched movies, played pool, and Cranium. So much fun. I really enjoyed it. And the house was not destroyed, so that was a good trust builder for my parents that I can have people over and they will keep it in good repair.
Today I was extraordinarily tired at work, however, due to last night's festivities... so tonight I plan to have a catch up night for rest. Sleep is fun, and I'm looking forward to actually getting to do it for more than 4 hours...
Thanks again for the concern of all those in response to my last post. It was much appreciated. And thankfully, all is well, and such things rarely do happen.
I hope everyone is doing extremely well and is enjoying their summer :)
