Highlighter Wars... Episode 2
Hah, James Waters and I had our second bout of highlighter fighting. Mr. Gibbs yelled at us multiple times and even took one set of highlighters away, but we continued the match. At first James had this yellow highlighter that was scratching me, but we got rid of that one and he got out his large orange wide tipped marker. Hehe, by the end of class we were both covered in marker on our arms and had a few streaks on our faces, and me on my legs too. It was great, but Dana said she was almost embarrassed to walk with me to fourth block :) Hehehehe...
Today was fun... In band we sat around and I studied for botany and signed year pages. Marine and aquatics we did one of the better things we've done in there, dissect a fish. Ours was neat because I couldn't find the stomach for the longest time and was wondering what this huge structure was. When I finally asked Ms. Fortenberry where the stomach was, it turned out it was the structure and that our fish had swallowed a pretty large minnow. That was a neat dissection, but the only trouble was my hands smelled like fish.
Afterwards we got caps and gowns!!! Woohoo! I now have a cap and gown and a cord! I'm so ready to graduate. I need out of mindless high school busy work. *AGH*
Tonight we had the Awards Ceremony and that was long. Hehe, I was in the Hall of Fame so we had to sit in front of everyone, and about mid way through I looked at the audience and everyone looked bored out of their minds... I started giggling and it took me a good while to regain my composure. I got an award for having a 100 in calculus, and then Kate got an award for trying hard and getting her 99! Hah, I thought that was so funny... we promptly named it the Little Engine That Could Award. Ms. Zeigler's so great. There were lots of other nice awards, and then we got cake! Whoo! Best part of every ceremony, if I might say so myself :)
After that we were going out to the car and I was taking Ms. Latil and Carly and Rebecca started talking to Jacob. Carly and I got in the car and then Carly got an urge to skip, so skipping we went. I innocently left my keys in the ignition, and then Rebecca hopped in and started driving, or should I say trying to drive. I saw and started running and jumped in front of my car... luckily Rebecca couldn't reach the pedals to drive it faster (hah, sucks to be you :)) I regained my poor automobile, and now it is safely home. That was fun.
Now I sit here looking a good 2 hours of marine and aquatic science homework in the face. *tear* I should start... Grr... Goodnight everyone!
