Blah.. such useless knowledge. I will take it a little easy on you guys this post, seeing as how my last post was extraordinarily long, and keep it to maybe 2000 words ;)
School is becoming more and more tedious as the days go by, and I can't help but say, what does it really matter anymore. I really do enjoy botany, though, and band is good most of the time. One class I can officially say I despise is marine and aquatic science... so pointless and completely taught through busy work. But that's ok, because the knowledge did come in handy for ocean bowl.
Interesting happenings... Went to drumline audition thing for MSU on Saturday. That was much fun and I really enjoyed playing on a bass line. I had never had that experience before, so marking time was a challenge at first, but after I got that and playing position I was in good shape. If not bass (which I doubt I'll get), I'm really hoping I'll at least get a cymbal spot.
This struck me as humorous... the other day I was walking in the hall and Mr. Hirsch saw me and started talking about prom (Mrs. Sanders was there too). He said I looked nice, but should be reprimanded for how I was dancing. He asked who my date was again, and I said Jacob. Mrs. Sanders was shocked ("You were 'breaking it down' with Jacob Newberry??" *mouth agape*) and Mr. Hirsch said that we looked like we were doing some sort of tribal dance while on drugs. I promptly asked if that was a compliment to our fantastic dancing skills... hehe...
Other than that... going on senior trip on WEDNESDAY!!!! Woohoo!!! Going to be super much fun. But now, I am off to do some other work and to get some sleep.... bye bye :)
