I went over to Lauren's house after midterms and I FINALLY FREKING SAW IT! IT WAS AWESOME! Lauren and I hugged each other and stared wide-eyed whenever Alucard did something particularly awesome, and Lauren kept on freaking over the amazing detail and beauty of the art.
As to the show itself...Dude! The art was beautiful, the voice-actors were kicking utter ass, and the characters were much more believable! Lauren was happiest that they'd worked on their accents (all except Crispin Freeman, because Alucard has no accent). It was also completely dramatic at times, but still knew how to work in really funny moments (like Seras's dream...or Seras waking up from her dream and checking if her boobs are healed, and then figuring out that Alucard is sitting on the bed watching her XD)
Speaking of characters... Alucard: Still a sexy beast, but now more noticeably so. Integra: much more feminine, while still retaining that leadership that knows no gender. Anderson: Screw what I said in an earlier entry about his accent! Steven Brand got much more into his character this time around; Anderson is so insane it's scary!The biggest and most impressive change so far: Seras! She's so much less annoying and whiny and bitchy and so much more kickass!
