I wonder how Men's Warehouse ended up . . .
So, I was playing with the Boiler Brass (the pep band for the Purdue Men's Basketball games) tonight and I looked at the Purdue bench, specifically noting that Coach Painter had a suit on. While he was well dressed, I thought to myself, "Well, he's no Billy Taylor." Billy Taylor was the Lehigh Men's basketball coach through my duration at Lehigh University and I saw him on a regular basis as a member, and later president, of the pep band. As those memories crept into my head, I looked over at the opposing team's bench and thought, "Hey, that guy actually looks a lot like Billy Taylor." I mention this to my friends as a passing fancy and think nothing of it until the second half, when I convince myself to call Amy VB and have her look it up. Apparently Billy Taylor is now the Head Coach of the Ball State University Men's Basketball team. Small world! Apparently he followed me to Indiana because he couldn't stand the thought of not hearing my lovely Mellophone playing.
