(no subject)
So just last week, at work, our boss told everyone on staff on Monday we would find out on the following Friday who would be offered contracts for next school year. Fast forward to Friday, well it seems the principal mis-spoke about being able to tell us about our contracts. So here's the line that she told everybody. "Since Covenant House signed a "no competition" clause with White Hat Management, we can not say anything about your future employment. If we did we would be in breach of the contract." WTF why would you even tell us that we would find out on Friday when you can't say shit about it. So every one is frantically applying every where possible, we my luck I'll be one of the last people still working there and having manage 60-80 students alone every day.
On the recreational side of things, the bowling leagues are ending this week. Monday we are rolling to be back-to-back champions again. We only have to give up about 152 pins a game. Thursdays is thankfully ending too. That have been a horrendous league. I am never going back to that center again. This weekend is also the State men's tournament so hopefully some big scores for me there.
I've been propositioned to play laser quest again. What for? The NAC that is in Chicago land. I don't know if i really want to get back in it. It was fun back then, but its with different people now. I miss the competition, but I am not sure with this group.
WoW's going good. We finally downed The Lich King 25man. It only took us turning over about 60% of our raid group. I may be quit by the time next fall comes around. Depends on the job situation and bowling. The game has gotten kinda of boring. The mechanics of recycled, which has to happen, and its just gets to repetitive. Eh.
