Hawaiian poetry, at least traditionally, seems to be almost always combined with music and dance in the hula. So today's poetry corner is one of the more famous songs of Hawaii, which you may not have known was written by the last reigning monarch of the Hawaiian islands, Queen Lili'uokalani.
