This evening I was hit out of left field by the exciting knowledge that I have been accepted to McGill's Class of 2010.
It's only the Faculty of Arts, so far; the Faculty of Music isn't sharing decisions until the second week of April.
But all this means that yes, I can go to school in Montréal, and yes, I can live there for the next four years, and yes, high school really is a moot point from here on out.
This combined with my eighteenth birthday in less than two weeks conspire to make me a very happy future Canadian.
April seventh is the Fourth Annual Franklinist Reunion. We can totally pull off one-hundred. RSVP ASAP BYOB TTYT. Those long-distance pilgrims (read: not Ridgefield, South Salem, and Wilton) among you are totally eligible for a frenzied dash about the county to pick you all up from train stations. We'll take care of you, we swear. Just come. Ballard Park. Four-thirty. Best ever.
On a related note,
here is the order form for Franklinist T-shirts. Order soon to get yours at or before the Reunion!
Other recent events in my life include the closing of a fabulous musical (anything most definitely went), a number of excellent cast parties, a trip to Silver Star Diner on closing night with Bret, Rachel, and Evian, the subsequent sleeping over of the latter, going Chinese-food-delivering with Susanna, whom I haven't seen in far too long, and the discovery of
this.
I forecast a triumphant return to actual recreational blogging as early as next month. (I am, by the by, totally keeping this thing in college. (At McGill. (Where I'm going. (Whoa.))))
Less than three,
Jon
