Story of my life
So today I was to fly to St. Louis though Atlanta, meet us with our St.Louis region rep and drive to Mattoon, IL for a customer visit tomorrow. I was to land here at 5pm and then we would go. So, here I sit in St.Louis. About an hour before I boarded my flight here, after sitting 3 hours in ATL, I got an e-mail from the rep I was supposed to meet informing me that he threw out his back and that he was in the hospital. Yikes. So I was all worried I'd have to rent a car, make the drive, and meet the customer on my own. Mind you I haven't been into a customer account in over a year, and we are showing a new product I hadn't seen in action yet. So, I apprehensively boarded in ATL, hoping something would work out while I was in the air. I landed to the news that Bill, our ATL area rep is meeting me here...at 10:30 and then we will drive the 2 hours to Mattoon and make meet the customer tomorrow at 6am. Joy! While this isn't the ideal situation, I can at least laugh at it. Nothing like the smell of airports!
On a positive note, I have internets and I am sitting next to a redbox DVD rental. Now, if I could just find a power outlet.
