That is one helluva decade.

The compartmentalization is a good idea to keep moving oneself forward. Breaking tasks into little bits... self-exploration in small doses.

I'd love to see Joni's website. Kink, please.

One helluva decade and a long strange trip it's been. And, I finally, actually put it all on a timeline. (One of the goals I'd set in grief counseling.) Yay Me!

Though I 'knew' about compartalization & self exploration in small doses, I actually SAW you and El documenting your forward motions with Live Journal. I've learned, & continue to do so from both of you in that regard.
I also love your lists, goal-setting, & even your posts about taking care of daily living tasks & your business. These help me not to sit on my arse & bemoan my journey.

Would love to get your thoughts on her pages, & your faves on the pendants.

{{{{Sus}}}} I didn't know Dee Dee had lost her battle with cancer. I'm so sorry to hear that. You are one brave lady and I know you will continue to move forward!

Lucy Hon,

I consider YOU one of the bravest & moving-forwardest ladies I know! Your losses of your daughter AND your hubby come to mind when I'm struggling, & as I continue clearing/journaling, and such....I still want to answer the questions you've offered about Michael. I truly MUSSt do justice to his memory in some creative ways!

I miss DeeDee on a daily basis. I don't cry about her that often. She comes to mind when I see something online or IRL that she would find funny or interesting. Plus her commentaries on any situation were so true, witty, and sparked a new language that Dan & I call 'Dee-Dee Speak'.

Today, I further reclaimed my identity with a new haircut/style. Michael really preferred my hair natural gray/brown and very long. Today, I got a razor cut, very defined with tons of layers and movement, shoulder length. My next step will be auburn coloured hair & eyebrows to match.

I'm refining the design of a tatoo I want (to be detailed in my next post).
