i would agree with the above comment for the first thing...
but for the second...it really sounds like they want you to increase each end for the seventh row, and the *knit seven rows, and the increase each end on the eight row. then repeat * until you get to 135 stitches.
but look at what you're knitting...does it make sense to do the decreasing and increasing this way to get the shape you need? sometimes when i'm stumped, i try to look at it this way and it can help... lol
Yeah-- if you are confused, just look at the shape it's supposed to be. If it's symmetrical and they give you a stitch count you are supposed to have after decreases, you can kind of wing it and do the math yourself to double check what they are saying.
looks like you have several folks willing to take a look for you...so add me to the list. i'm one of those people who was never very good at word problems in math, but give me diagrams or something to put my hands on and i'm SUPER GENIUS. haha. so, knitting problems are hard to solve using words.
