2. VISHUDDHA: THE THROAT
The Joy of Sarasvati, The Akashic Essence
The Sixteen-Petaled Lotus.
Creativity, self-expression, communication, sound, vibration, and the wisdom to know right from wrong.

Vishuddha confers the gift of speech, and thereby the ability to determine and pursue your desires and aspirations.

The activity of this chakra also confers the ability to understand how to learn from life’s pain, suffering and hardship, and with work, grants the knowledge and strength to transform our trials into growth.

When Vishuddha is closed, we suffer from spiritual entropy. When it is open and utilized, our sorrow blossoms into wisdom.

He plays.

But he never sings.

Sometimes he wants to. He can hear it in his head. What it would sound like. Sometimes he knows, really believes, that he has a gift for music. It's like some sort of magic.

It feels right. Like so few things in his life do. He can just close his eyes and play. It's like silk or soft cat fur to smooth over all the harsh parts of his soul. Filling up all the empty rooms inside where he used to be and he never figure out what to do with after they were emptied.

Sometimes he can fill those spaces. Because he'll never be able to talk about them. He fills them with music he can make with his hands. Because he silenced his own voice.

He never sings because he can't.

For a while they thought he wouldn't be able to speak either.

That maybe the damage was to much. But he was a good healer. And they had put a lot of effort into repairing the damage done by the scalpel to his throat. Kept him breathing. Stopped the massive blood loss. There wasn't even a telltale scar.

Except that he can't sing. Some things even an X5 can't heal.

In the beginning he had hated Colonel Lydecker for making them save him.

Later, once he had remembered that there where people worth living for, he was just grateful that the man had never told anyone that he had cut his own throat.
