Topic: Trangenics 101
So here it is people. Question an answer time. You ask, I'll answer. Unless, you know, its really personal and something you should know better than to ask. Try and be an adult.
Best way to start I guess would be a rough explanation of who and what we are. And by rough I mean really rough because I'm not giving anyone classes on biology or genetics.
A transgenic is the combination of two dissimilar organisms. Like combining apples and oranges.
So we are a combination of human and some other animal (Yes I classify human as animal. Guess what? I'm right.)and a gene sequence specific to our particular series. We'll use me as a grand example. I'm human, X5 and leopard. Laymen's terms: I've got kitty in the cocktail. I've got some cat tendencies. I like mint (It's related to cat nip) I'm mostly nocturnal, I like to nap in the sun, can see in the dark. Personally? I don't have fur, or fangs or retractable claws (Which I think is a loss), but some of my friends do.
News flash. They're still people. Thinking, feeling, reasoning people. Just as smart as any of you. And the way they look? The way I look? We didn't pick it. It wasn't our choice and it wasn't chance. We were build this way. And I really mean built. Implying that people (The U.S. Government.) went through a lot of effort to get us here.
I know a lot of people think we shouldn't be here because we aren't necessarily part of nature's great plan. What ever. Get over it. Because we were built for a purpose. What was that? To save lives. Yeah, you read that right.
We were soldiers. Tougher than an Ordinary. Any of you have a family member in the Armed Forces? I was built to keep them safe. Send one of us in instead of five Marines. All five of those Marines make it back home to their families. Send one of us in because we can't get sick from chemical weapons. Send a team of us in because we can take more damage and come back.
So why aren't we soldiers now? A) Because we were a secret and it was exposed. So they tried to kill us to keep it. B) Because now that we're on our own we aren't going back to being hurt.
Because they were doing things to us that are illegal by international law. That would never be done to animals in a lab setting. Rearranging our minds if we thought outside their lines. Destroying (Yeah that means kill.) us if we didn't measure up, or something went wrong. I had two siblings (That's how we thought of each other, siblings.) taken away because they were having seizures. They never came back. I wont give you any more details. I'm sure you like your lunch, but not enough to meet it again.
What can I say. It was a picnic we were happy to leave once we realized how much better life (and the food) was out here. The excuse? We're objects. Weapons. If it's okay to dismantle an M-40 sniper rifle it's okay to dismantle us.
But let me tell you. I'm to pretty for that shit. And Mole? He's to ugly.
