Honey Nutella Rice Krispie Treats

Click to EmbiggenSo, a while back,
feuervogel, I believe, linked to this recipe for Honey-Nutella Rice Krispie treats. A few days later, I decided to give them a try. They were decadent and delicious, so I have made them again, and herself kindly took a photo.

Notes from this time: I used buckwheat honey, and while I can't quite describe the change, I kind of like it. I recommend pouring the nutella-honey mix over the cereal, as opposed to mixing the cereal into the liquid. I also used wax paper to line the baking dish into which I pressed the treat mix (like the foil I use making lemon bars), and that makes life so much easier it isn't even funny. You don't spend nearly as much time trying to pry cemented snackies out of the dish, it just pops right up and cuts easy as you please, no damage to knife or dish. Never going back.
