On accomplishments
Real life totally needs some sort of "level up" sound effect. Something to indicate your progress in the great grind of life.
Today, for example, I made lemon bars for the first time. They were delicious. This increased my "baked dessert" panoply by 50% over previous levels. But no satisfying "DING!" What's up with that, man?
On the plus side, the lemon bars are delicious, and we now have quite a few to munch on. I suppose the increased options should be sufficient reward... but damnit, there should be a DING!
