what a lovely day!
thank you to everyone who sent a text, wrote an lj, myspazzed me or rang to wish me happy birthday.
i was really worried i was going to be miserable, what with having no boyfriend and this being my first birthday where i haven't/wont see my family.
anna and rich were amazing. they arranged my presents on the living room table, lit some candles, bought a cake with a Z shaped candle, bought banners hats and blowy things that make noise. it was so lovely. a tear was brought to my eye.
so tonight i have eaten way too much cake and chinese food, watched an awesome double bill of cross over CSI and been made to feel loved by my housemates and my friends.

hopefully see you all on friday for the drinking portion of the celebrations.
