"Katori Shingo. Because they're both called Shingo, they get along well...they are forming a comedy duo "W Shingo", and they hope to make a big splash in the comedy world!" said a contact in the TV industry.
He also explained that even though Tanoshingo's, comedy career might not be having a good period, his traditional Japanese therapy and massage business is doing well, with patrons such as Kitagawa Keiko, Oosawa Akane visiting regularly. It was pure chance that members of SMAP happened to go to Tanoshingo's shop and start talking to him. The special comedy collaboration is slated to appear on Fuji TV's SMAPxSMAP in the near future!
