Starting from 0 a week after graduation to look for jobs really is depressing when you've spent the 4 months prior to graduation doing the exact same thing.
There are only so many people i can call, so many rejections i can get. After a while, the finite amount of open positions or new people to call will simply cease to exist. Since there are 3000 people in my profession, an average of maybe 5 people working at every place... that means there are 600 places that could potentially be hiring. of the 30 that i've personally sent resumes to, or the other 30 that i've blind called or had other people (distributors, reps etc) feel out for open positions, and at my current rate of calling an assload of people every day, i should find out in 2 weeks that THE ENTIRE GROUP of 3000 people collectively do not want to hire me.
Great.
