"I want to let you in on a secret..."
So this past week..hmmm, I thought I had a summer break..I was wrong. I've been going to this math work-shop for the past 4 days to be eligible for the Math 088 final coming this Wednesday. It's been a pain in the butt waking up early for a math class..but to be honest, it isn't that bad. I'm re-learning a lot of material and the class doesn't really seem like 3+ hours...knock on wood. There are a few things in math I'm not trying to learn one way because I'm use to another way and I don't want that to change...so who knows. I'm ready for it to be done so I can enjoy a full days worth of summer break.
This past week has been alright. I believe it was Tuesday evening, Ben and I went to the tennis courts and played a few sets. They were actual close games too. He still has that whole "I'll put the ball in a certain part of the court" shot, and I'm still learning/trying to develope something like that..but the scores were close. The first game he beat me 7-6(3-7 tiebreaker score). Other game(s), just goofing around..but it was fun. It was nice seeing Ben again and playing tennis again.
I called my coach today and he told me that we didn't win the national title..I think he said we came in like 5th or 6th place which isn't that bad but it's still not a national championship. We have next season with new talent and everyone will improve from this year..plus I'm ready for another trip to Florida and Maryland..fun ass time.
Today Andre and I went down to Albany for a RD tourny. The guy who set the scheduale up online messed up and schedualed it for today when it should be for Saturday. Oh, yeah...we were pissed. I was heated. Wasted time/gas/time...I was mad as all hell. So we went to Crossgates; a mall in Albany and chilled there for a little bit. We didn't stay long because it was boring as all hell. On the way home, we listened to some Disney classic CD I made this afternoon and we were straight killing it. It almost made the trip fun...I can honestly say the only good part of this trip was listening to that CD..19 tracks and damn near an hour of classics; it was the shit.
Now I'm tired...I'm going to go watch basketball and put this waste of a day behind me. Little small messages are nice to read..so while you type, I'm going to go watch basketball if it's on tonight because it's one of the best sports in the world. It's not the best sport in the world, but it beats the hell out of hockey +5. Alright, g'night world. Patrick~
