Today was my last official day of class and then I just have to get through finals next week. Not looking forward to my final for finance but really, who is ever looking forward to finals. Our study group got some good work done this morning and we have plenty of study days planned as a group for the final.
Yesterday I finished up my presentations in marketing and IT. I will start with IT because it was less eventful. Our group did well during the presentation and Davalos (the prof) gave me a compliment on my power point which always makes me feel good. We had some really funny moments that are worth mentioning. When Sheila was going through the website she pulled up the product list of what our company sells online and the last picture was of a cowboy. So, she clicks on it and says "I'll just bring this one up because he's a hot little cowboy". Then after the presentation one of the students asked if the phone number was real and I was like no it's not real, then Ali says "oh yea, call it up and get yourself a nice cowgirl". I started laughing really hard at that comment.
My marketing presentation didn't go as well because of course Monica decided to talk about stuff that she is clueless on. So what happened was our group meet at 9am to go over the power point and practice. During that time she kept asking me who was talking about this, who was talking about that. So I told her who was talking about those things and non of them was her of course. Well during the presentation she decided to talk about what other group members were talking about (mostly me). She decided to talk about what RA stands for and what it is that they do. She said that an RA stands for (residence assistance) except it actually stands for Resident Adviser. Also, she said that they are there to help you with your homework, um I'm sorry my RA never helped me with my homework because they are too busy doing their own homework. All they really do is enforce rules, plan events for the floor, and settle fights between roommates. Then when she was actually talking about her section she kept going on and on, so of course all I could think was "oh my god, please stop talking". So we went over our time limit because she wouldn't shut up. People who don't even know her were telling me after class that she was so annoying.
I ended up giving her a 2.1 which was being generous. If I had turned in her evaluation after our presentation I would have given her much lower. Whatever, I'm done with that class and I don't want to think about it anymore.
We are working on my sisters house this weekend. We are replacing all the siding on her house and it's going to look great. My parents are actually buying the siding for her house because its pretty expensive, and she has other things that need funding right now.
My hair is getting cut today which it needs. After that I think I'll take my finance books outside to study.
Peace Outside-
