(no subject)
Long day today, well not really cause I didn't get out of my bed until almost 11:00:) But the day before, meaning tuesday, was super long, I had a quiz in collegiate and I was the first quartet to go, I did pretty well, then I bombed my aural comp performance exam, stupid stupid(hitting myself in the head, then didn't really sing in Opera workshop, so hopefully I'll learn my part soon:) Today I got yelled at for talking in sectional, I mean the one time I talk, come on, seriously! So that was fun! OH and yesterday Chris and I went to the 9th floor of sprau, ya know that there are 9th floor people up there, yup there are, there was a sign that said, "ATTENTION 9TH FLOOR PEOPLE" we were fortunate enough to see any of them, but I'm guessing there midgets, cause that would just make sense, the highest floor of sprau and a bunch of midgets roaming around! hehe! Oh yeah got a F-ing ticket last night for not completely stopping at a stop sign, and 3 points on my license cause the officer was a bitch! So now my banck account will be at -35 dollars, I love it! so that sucks! I quit the salad buiz, wasn't worth it! Oh our washer was smoking tonight, not looking good, it was made in the 50's though, whatdya expect! Hahah let me tell you about choir today, we are singing this song called, simple Gifts, orginially it was written by Copeland, but this arrangement is by Rene Clausen, so it's a little different. At the end of the piece, the sopranos split, but they come in on two different notes at the same time, but two people come in at a time, for example, leanne sings the D and I sing the F#, and lucky for us, Dr.Joe decided to start in the middle of the choir, which would be leanne and I, so as we approached the end of the piece I proceeded to sing a note, lets just say it was not and F#, it was like geffish! haha it was quite funny cause I was the only one singing and I give the pitch for the rest of the choir, hahaha, dr.Miller just shook his head, a good time was had by all! And then I hated my life:) Grand Chorus ran until 9:30, and I had a sectionl, so 2 and a half hours..........sucks!! But yeah so thats about it, classes are ok, singing first in diction thats fun, not going on retreat this weekend, but I am gonna have a fun weekend though, lots of plans............YEAH!!! Ok, must go to sleep! Night all!
