Our third round at smallfandombang has come to an end! I’d like to thank everyone who participated this year and helped make this round a huge success. Whether you were an author or an artist, a beta or a cheerleader, or a someone who left a comment, your participation is appreciated.
I’d especially like to thank the artists who stepped up and took on the task of creating artwork for several stories in order to make sure that more authors got artwork for their stories (most especially those artists who took chances on fandoms they weren’t familiar with), and those authors who posted their stories for the challenge even though they didn’t receive artwork in exchange. You have my heartfelt thanks.

After a getting too close to a witness he was supposed to protect got Jack shot and nearly killed, he’d left the Marshal service and started his own personal security firm.
Allie warned Jack her partner was ‘difficult to deal with’ but he figured one genius scientist would be easy. He really was not prepared for Nathan Stark.

Summary: Dom never meant to repeat the mistakes of the past. He never for one minute imagined that he would do what Kenny Linder once did to his family. Not easy and by the end of it Brian and Dom will have to walk a mile in each others shoes, and just maybe they might reach a true understanding.

Five Easy Steps to Falling in Love by severina2001 (John/Matt; PG)
Summary: The steps to falling in love are pretty standard. A couple meets, goes on a few dates, gets to know each other. They spend time together. There is some hand-holding, some snuggling, kisses that progress to more carnal pursuits. Eventually, they realize that they want to spend the rest of their lives together.
But when you meet your other half on a wild ride across the country chasing terrorists who are trying to destroy America's infrastructure, it follows that the courtship process might evolve a little... differently. The hand-holding might involve mutant rats, for example (at least, it does if you think like Matthew Farrell.) The cuddling may just include rope and a few bad guys (because you're John McClane, and it follows that you get to that stage of the relationship on a holiday.)
The road to true love doesn't always run quite as smoothly as one would hope -- but John and Matt will get there.

Summary: After their meeting on the pier in Seattle, the team goes their separate ways. But Ghost Protocol left the IMF in turmoil, so Will, Ethan, Jane, and Benji team up to take on the Syndicate, a mysterious and widespread criminal organization. Will has to adjust to being a field agent again, and learn how to work with his team when the world isn’t on the line -- all while dealing with attack cheetahs, unexpected amnesia, train robbery, master thieves, and more.
Falling in love was not part of his scenario.

Summary: There is no world in which Dan Ashcroft is a happy fellow, but without Claire, he would be lost.

It doesn't go well, but the world has a certain rhythm and rhyme and as a homeless alcoholic, Dan still becomes the Preacher Man, spray painting the truth on the walls and inspiring a cult-like devotion.

Summary: Thanksgiving has rolled around and Will is hosting the dinner, cooked by Neal because he has Google. The hand-holding might involve mutant rats, for example (at least, it does if you think like Matthew Farrell.) The cuddling may just include rope and a few bad guys (because you're John McClane, and it follows that you get to that stage of the relationship on a holiday.)
