Although it is an odd arrangement, you may one day find yourself sitting in the path that a door has defined as it's radius. The door may be subject to movement by a subtle, various wind. If you so happen to have your back facing the door, it may come nudge you, or rest at your back.
In this rare occasion, I find the contact of the door to be so random and gentle that it, surprisingly, is reminiscent of loving human contact. Or, the comfort of a pet resting with you while you think or read.
I don't know if we should feel sad that these completely dead, designed objects can give you those feelings.
