Rumour has it that he's done with Touring for about a decade...as for NIN releases, well Year 1 is still in the pipeline (apparently) and one of the major reasons for the 'step back' is that he wants to devote more time to getting the Year Zero Miniseries into production. If that goes ahead then we may not hear from NIN as a band for a long while, if not, NIN may be back sooner.
But all that is simply rumour and speculation that I've picked up this weekend when searching for news. Trent himself has been pretty quiet on the matter other than that one statement which is pretty damn ambiguous.
Oh and apparently there are going to be a few more gigs in the US in 'smaller' venues, it's up on their site with details.
I was well pleased that they did La Mer, it's one of my favourite tracks, and yeah, practically nothing from the newer albums. My suspicion is that as this is a 'going away' tour he's picked out his favourite stuff to do - including about half of The Downward Spiral, we had March of the Pigs, Heresy, The Becoming, Reptile, The Downward Spiral and Hurt.
I forgot to include above that they also did Wish from Broken and Bowie's "Afraid of Americans". Will update that now!
