*For the longest time [which isn't long in typical human age, but for a Black Mage, definitely], Vivi always pondered about his existence. When he found out about how Black Mages "stop" at a certain time in a year, he feared that the same would happen to him someday. But he was the first of the many that were created, a prototype. From that, he was able to live a longer life than expected for a Black Mage. He's grateful for the things he has experienced as unhappy as most some things were, and hopes that someday, the other Black Mages would be able to live long enough to see the world like he did.*
