Here are a few things I have forgotton to mention over the past two weeks...
1) The bouncer at the Rancid show was more of an instigater, he was rockin out, and continously pushin the puncks harder into the pit. A unique take on his job.
2) Road signs make me chiggle, especially when it comes to warnings about animals. Flyin through AZ, you may see a sign for elk crossing next 25miles, and at the end of that 25 miles, the same sign will repead itself, except the silloute of the elk is facing the other way. And inbetween the two, there will be one for a deer, next 10 miles, as if these animals have specific crossing zones. I wonder what my adjustment is driving technique should be when I know deer and elk could be comin my way? And does the direction of the silloute warn me about which direection they are coming from? In all this quandry, I'm probably going to get sideswiped by a deer and elk at the same time.
3) I always felt the adopt a highway program was a bit of a joke, some senator's cousin came up with it or something, but here in AZ and NM, they really take it to heart, everyone from Coldwell Banker, to Red Lobster and Officer Bob have a mile or two in their name. It would make for some interesting found poetry.
This was last night, in a shell of nut...
I had an itch
and found a cute bed post
but scratched some flesh, and heard a fan propel its judgemental blades at a constant speed in a strange room with pulled blinds all night long
Belle and Sebastian sang quietly at my request
from a computer on a desk
in that room with the finger pointed fan and hung vencian blinds
a modern comfort
in this ancient, animal rooted tradition
I would leave
never to hear B & S from that computer again
but I'll never forget that fan
dilligant in his accusation
of my PM actions
I have played some ultimate, didn't do so hot, I blame the altitued and lack of shoes.
There is another Wolverine series, The End, which i think goes through his last days, could be interesting. One of the intersting things about Origin, is that it says something about siblings, Wolverine's brother had a similar mutation, just as Cyclopse and Havok do. So that I liked, and I think it really goes into the roots of his delima's with society. Weapon X in the Age of Apocalypse is a great version of Wolverine, I have the first 3 books of the Age of A series, the fourth comes out in september, most definatly worth a read for you chris, and anyone else who is intersted of course.
Peace to the desert riders
