haruhara CHARACTER INFORMATION-
Canon Character and Series: Sealand from Axis Powers Hetalia
In-Game Name: Peter Kirkland
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Position & Ship (first and second choice for position please): Passenger on the Winding Way (Backup: Cabin Boy on the Winding Way)
Appearance: The first thing you'll notice about Peter are the thick eyebrows. The really, really, really thick eyebrows. REALLY thick. Seriously, no thirteen year old boy should have eyebrows like these, but it's something that's sort of inherited within the Kirkland family (his older brother, Arthur, has the same ones sob). But if you get past those hideous things, you'll see that he's just a normal thirteen year old boy!
He has dusty blonde hair that's normally covered by a cute hat that matches his blue and white sailor attire. He's a skinny kid, but for his age, he can't help but be a bit on the short side. His face looks very similar to Arthur's, including the green eyes, but there was one difference. Peter sort of has this stupid, arrogant grin.
Personality: Luckily, the arrogant grin matches his personality. He's so determined to become one of the names remembered in history. Well, he already thinks he's this awesome guy, but no one has yet to be recognized for such greatness. He's tried many schemes to get people to recognize him, only to be scolded by big brother, Arthur Kirkland. For example, one time, he tried to sell himself. That didn't go well to say the least.
That jerk Arthur, always getting in his way! Just because he got on some famous military ship and is bragged about back home! Peter thinks he can do just as great if not greater. He's always looking at his brother in disdain for various reason. Sometimes he feels like Arthur has forgotten about him, or that their relationship needs to start over completely before they can even THINK about being friends, much less brothers. So, now he wants to prove that he could do just as well by himself. He's young, but he's got a strong heart! So he says!
For someone who wants to be a big, powerful person, he does the work to do so. If someone asked him to do some hammering or some sawing, he'll do it! He's pretty good with his hands when manual labor is involved because, he has to be self-reliant.
At least, he isn't as mean or selfish as he could be. If he wanted to help someone, he will. He'll try to encourage others who are as small as him to become strongindividuals! Together, they will be recognized someday! But, especially himself!
Abilities/Weapons: Nothing. The only thing he might be good at is being exceptionally determined. And annoying. :(
How well can your character hack?: Absolutely no talent whatsoever!
Weaknesses: Well, he's a boy. He might be strong for his age, but he lacks any REAL experience in any kind of battle. If he were to hold a gun, he'd probably end up hitting someone on his own side. More than likely, if he was to learn, he'd get it, but right now? No way.
History: Not unlike Arthur, he, too, had a history of skilled fighters and famous military officers. After all, they were in the same family despite the age difference. Arthur was already 13 when Peter was born. Like a duckling, he would follow his big brother around. The elder Kirkland was polite, strong, and quite noble! Arthur would every once in a while take care of Peter when he had the time and he didn't mind it, no siree.
But there was that boy. Alfred.
Peter was Arthur's real brother. They shared the same mother and father! Pure-blooded siblings to the fullest...but it was as if he was overshadowed by his other "brother", the blue-eyed Alfred. Before Peter was even born, his parents had liked this young orphan, enough to adopt him. Not only were the Kirkland parents infatuated with the kid, he had this effect on Arthur as well. It seemed like Arthur wanted to spend more time with Alfred instead of Peter! Why would he want to do that? Peter was just as strong as this tall lad. In fact, the younger Kirkland was much more handsome! So what if he was second to Alfred or if there was a ten year difference, there was no good reason to ignore him!
Eventually, that dumb boy, Alfred, ran off somewhere! Now Peter could have Arthur all to himself! They now get to have that awesome brother bonding that he couldn't have before because that hick always got in the way. He was excited...
But unfortunately, after Alfred was gone, Art was not the same guy that Peter remembered. He acted so differently. He wasn't sure what happened between the two, but the result drove Arthur into a strange state. To be honest, Peter was annoyed by it. His once noble brother didn't act so noble once he picked up the habit of drinking himself silly. Unfortunately for Peter, the relationship between the Kirkland brothers would never be as close as he had hoped it to be, with or without Alfred.
Soon enough, when Peter was around the age of 11, Arthur ran off to find a ship for himself, leaving the younger one alone, by himself.
That was when Peter decided that he wasn't going to rely on Arthur ever agan. That jerk, Arthur, would regret leaving Peter in the dust like that. The younger Kirkland told himself that he was going to surpass Arthur, no matter the means, not matter the cost! He was determined to make his older brothers pay! He would become so great, when people hear the name Kirkland, they'll think of Peter! Peter the Great!
Unfortunately, the most he could get at his age was being a passenger (or a cabin boy) for now. Oh well! Everyone starts somewhere!
SAMPLES-
Third Person (roleplay): Mother and father had took off to a faraway place not too long ago, leaving Peter to his lonesome at home. Where was it? Boston? Wherever it was, they were going to journey there for the week, and decide if it's worth taking a trip to Boston next fall during their anniversary. They were always so extravagent, and they could never make up their mind on which trips to go on.
Peter realized that this was his chance to make it big. There would be no better time to finally run away from home. The last few attempts ended up with his mother or father dragging him back. That was never fun especially if it was father...ESPECIALLY, if it was father. Ouch was usually the response to any of his punishments, and Peter did not feel like saying ouch right now.
However, now that they were both gone, it was going to be easy to escape. He had no regrets leaving, nor was he afraid. He was determined to be strong one day, and he'd do anything to do so and reach his goal of becoming someone strong and memorable... but he had to reach a few mini goals before that.
First mini goal. Escape through his bedroom window. That was going to be a bit difficult, being on the second story. He tried the blanket tied up into a rope method and...sort of dropped the blankets onto the ground, oops. Next, Peter tried the scaling down the wall like a spy trick using plungers. Yeah, he sort of fell to the ground. Hard. But he survived! He was totally okay, and not only that, he made it through the first goal.
Second mini goal. Find a way to the harbor. He had no money, for one. Well, a few coins in his pocket, but still, that wasn't real money. He sort of left his piggy bank back up in his room, and no way was he going to try to sneak back in after falling to his near death. Two, he had no idea where it was. He never really paid much attention to directions so he was sort of out of luck on that one. Well, the easiest solution was to walk in a straight line and hope for the best! That was the way to do things, after all! He was a man! He needs no directions! And he still had a few coins in his pockets so he was good.
Third but definitely the REAL goal. One day, find that jerk Arthur, and prove to him, once and for all, who was the better brother! But Peter didn't worry about that.
Because THAT one was going to be a piece of cake.
First Person (journal): Hey, jerk Arthur!
I've got better friends than you! I've got a better ship than you! My hat is better than your hat!
Enough with that, you guys recognize me, right? I'm Peter the Great! ...
What do you mean you don't recognize me? Geez, what's wrong with you all. You should at least greet one of your peers properly. Really now...
But, I bet I'll get more greetings on my ship, that's for sure! Unlike that jerk Arthur. He's got such a bad attitude and such a bad haircut...he's definitely the unpopular type. Poor guy. Okay, not really, he's a jerk. I don't really care.
But, oh, hey, is it lunchtime yet?
