my sort of illegal new year's eve
my new cell phone came in the mail yesterday! it's a nokia 6010. it's black & has basically the same features my old phone did. oh well. i wanted a cam phone, but what can i say: i got this phone for free.
we went to culver's last night for dinner... yummy! the custard flavor of the day was raspberry cordial (champagne flavored custard with chocolate & raspberries) so mom & i got that. we drove through the drive thru b/c we thought they were closed inside but THEY WEREN'T!!!! hehe
brandi, chelsea, & brittany came over last night around 7:30. we broke out the alcohol by 8pm. i had my strawberry screwdrivers to drink as we played quarters. i cannot make a quarter in a glass to save my life. LOL
we swam, made brownies (i wanted to put vodka in but my mom said not to) & watched "superstar". that was fun as we waited for midnight to roll around.
i heard fireworks outside so while we teens (LOL) were out on the balcony (i was taking pictures) with my dad, mom & brandi got everyone champagne. we turned on kens5 & counted down to midnight. when 12 rolled around, i was slightly drunk. i started yelling to the ppl across the street who were setting off fireworks. it was so pretty!!!!!!!
my brother tried to set off a rocket but it was a dud. he did almost burn the house down by leaving the element from the stove on! LOL i called chels & my lovely twin to wish them happy new year.
then we all came in around 12:30 & played "scene it". THAT GAME IS TOUGH! the moms won. hehe we put blankets down on my floor & crashed around 2am.
brandi woke us up about 10am to get chelsea & brittany up to go home. turns out their dad (who is a cop w/ SAPD who was working downtown last night) broke up a fight between two drunks & hurt his knee. they left around 11am to take him to get it checked.
last time i checked the score on the A&M/Tennessee game, i was so disappointed. i'm praying hard!!!!!! (i also hope stacy can get me a wristband while she's in college station...) now lunch is ready. better go eat!
