Apparently I'm the last person in the world to find out that miracle-grow kills bamboo.
I learned too late.
This is my first green-thumb murder.
I'm forcing myself to watch it die so I never kill a plant ever again.

I certainly didn't know that...

On the other hand, the instructions I got with mine mentioned using distilled water... I think that's a little nuts, too.

Just be glad you did this with a plant and not a pet. When I was a little kid I killed my entire tank of fish cuz I thought they might like some grape juice lol.
