[.meant-to-be upper E. coast girl, appetite of a southern gal, and the soul of a small dinosaur]

I have arrived.

First, I need to thank my old Scrabulous mates for the practice. I CRUSHED at all of the family Christmas parties when we played Scrabble. Like T-rex-stomp-all-over-you style.
If only I approached my life with the same enthusiasm, drive, and focus. I would have probably made something of myself by now.

I met some amazing people this year. This makes me happy. The context was not ideal always ideal to say the least... but take it or leave it, I take it.

And of course, there was and always will be New York. My soul-mate, I love you.

Congrats to my friends Naomi and Ben! She had her baby and both are well. Cyrus will rock the best fashions from Aunt Kimmie. I've already gotten him a bunch of dino/t-rex outfits.
He'll probably get his first pair of Converses from me, as well.

I will move out sometime in late January!!!!!!!! I will live with my cousin Tim in his lovely 3 story house. The first floor has 1 bedroom 1 bath which I will start my first life outside of parents' house. I'm a total late-bloomer, and this is HUGE for me. I'm also individuating from Bogie. This co-dependent relationship has got to evolve. We've been holding eachother back. She'll only be 25 min away. I can do this.

I've been a restless and somewhat tortured soul. Is this what it feels like? Taking risks and I don't know, living life? Trying to make peace with decisions in the making? The good, the v. bad, the maybe wonderful?

A long nap, please?

new year
