Bali Hai
So i'm back from my trip from Bali , after a long planning and deliberation , 1/2 the entourage decided to make the trip down. Popped down to Ku De Ta and Hu'u bar , which was barely 10 mins walk from where we were. Woohoo!! It was soo fun. But then , now i am a little chao dar... sigh.
But it was great , having your own pool , and outdoor shower area , cooks , maids . Spent the 1st day frolicking in the pool , and drinking chilling to the music off our IPODs .... after which we all had a massage . Most of us all ended up falling asleep during the massage tho. It was fantastic . Getting a massage in the open , and looking up at the sky and the setting sun.And after we got up , we had our chefs in the kitchen whipping up a local feast .Imagine that waking up with your meal being prepared right infront of your eyes ... mmmm mmmm. Was a really nice villa , and really great time , jus that it was not really my "trip" I cut my chin , got ravaged by mosquitoes and unidentified insects. Had a swollen eye , cos an insect bit my eye lid ...noy my arms are full of bites from some insects , and they look like hives .. sigh... doctor says that i was prolly allergic to the saliva of the insects.
The second day , we woke , called the chefs to prepare our breakfast , then we all went for a walk down the beach . later which we hopped into a hotel car and went down to Kuta , and OMG , i never expected there to be shopping i would be interested in , and i ended up spending way more than i should have... sigh.. Food was great , we ate at this place near the "bombsite" tho . But i had the BEST Soup Buntut in my life !!! There was some sort of prayer/ritual thing outside the area. And most of the shops weren't open till late evening. Was really pretty deserted. Bought another huge chunky jade pendant ... kekeke but the sad thing is , that i need to get it "fixed" It kind of broke ....sigh..Wanted to take surfing lessons , but it was too late . So we settled for boogie boarding instead. Ended up being mobbed by touts tho.. guess cos they were significantly less tourists too.
