Mmm...this year not in a Christmasy mood. I think I'll make it a point to make presents in the future. It'll satisfy the crafty side of me while getting me into the giving-with-sweat mood (instead of just throwing down money).
Also, main point is that since I haven't been at Chad's house in a long while, that's where all the Christmas cheer is, with the lights/decorations/trees, and the adorable kids who try to behave well and are excited about getting gifts.
Plus the fact that Chad's in Lebanon and I missed Christmas and will miss New Year's with him...=( He better come back safe!
Coupled with the fact that my grandma is in the hospital for pancreas infection - nothing serious, fortunately!! But the family was not in the mood either. In fact this morning I saw my dad's eye(s) well up in tears and later said in awkward Chinese "hmmm? tears this morning?" Then he started laughing and waving his hand. "Yesterday I saw a wilbur (grasshopper) and was trying to hit it with a rubber band...but the band shot backwards, right into my eyeball. Fortunate for me that I am not blind!" Haaaaa, my dad is such a cute funny fellow. He one time typed "gassap" instead of "gossip".
Chad sent me pink roses at work. =) Apparently Phoebe helped him out with the address.
Thanks to the TV I bought this Black Friday, I'm now playing PS2 games a lot, especially the old ones, especially FF8.
So I'll put some videos I found in relation:
