I don't have the time to debate (this was all off the top of my head), but I've found this topic interesting for a long time. Other points, if you're interested in considering (I don't expect a response, nor do I know if I'd have time to reply to any in a timely manner):
I have a few problems with this article. Please note that none of these are problems with you, simply problems with the article (some people I know - and I doubt you're one of them - can't always tell the difference). If you're interested in the Evolution v. Creationism debate (one of the two scientific controversies outside of CS that really interest me), there are many better sources on both sides.
I regularly recommend that anyone who is very interested in this topic read Charles Darwin's The Descent of Man (the "followup" to On The Origin of Species) and George Hunter's A Civic Biology (the textbook on which the Scopes trial was based). The former changed my thinking on the topic significantly when I read it during my second year at UCI. The latter is a piece of

Woooow Mike....thanks for writing all that. Clearly you have the mind for arguing and debating. I don't take offense to anything you've said...in fact, I wasn't focusing on the topic at hand, but more of the "how to". I also don't like the sarcasm the site has and glaze over it to pick up key points

I'm glad you liked reading it. I don't think of you as all that slow. Keep in mind that I took a great number of philosophy classes and emphasized classes in philosophy of logic, so the invalid arguments are known by name to me rather quickly.
