Updates: New Pictures and School So Far...
Hello again!
I have posted a new album, it's really short. It's pictures from when Dustin and I went to the Boardwalk before I left.
Eventually what I am trying to get to is posting pictures of my dorm room and my school. It is so beautiful out here and I can't wait to show you folks some pictures of it. But me being me, I have to go in order of events. Also, I tried posting a second new album of my last Californian sunset after I posted the Santa Cruz one, and it didn't work. Why, I don't know, but it really sucked, quite honestly. But I will get to it eventually!
In other news: I went to my first Akido class today! It was fun, good work, I really enjoyed it, and I hope to continue to pursue this martial art. Eventually I will also get back into running and working out consistantly. I really love how this is such an academically focused school, but they continually remind us to exercise our bodies as well as our minds, which is very important to me. I am very excited to have the oppertunity to take advantage of such neat activities and great facilities.
Also, for my work study job I got the job of the Dean's assistant's assistant! So I feel very lucky and honored to be working in the Dean's office! Dean Levine seems to be a nice guy. He informed me that his assistant, Peggy, is actually the one who runs the school and I'll be helping her do that! Like, wow! That's crazy! I am excited and have heard nothing but good things about working for Peggy. All in all, I'm very excited to be here. I don't really know how I'll be able to read or socialize with all the things I'm doing, but I am getting through it (so far!) and enjoying every moment of it!
