Tim...Some Driving tips
Since I have driven cross country from West(Washington State) to East(Connecticut) and North(Maine) to South(Florida), I consider my self somewhat of an expert(then again this is my blog so that alone makes me an expert on anything I want) on road trips, so here we go.
Rule #1: You are the driver you stop when YOU want - not when someone else has to go pee pee, cause little johnny never has to go at the same time as little billy.
Rule #2: You control the radio - That doesn't mean you have to turn the station (in fact I recommend that you don't turn but tell someone else to) Although you do control the song that is played at any given time.
Rule #3: Take predetermined brakes: Decide before you go when you are going to stop - The easiest way is to say "We stop when we get gas, you pee, eat, brush teeth, hook up with a trucker, then and only then.
Rule #4: You control the temperature in the vehicle: Every whines about it so YOU might as well be comfortable.
Rule #5: A good rule of thumb for hitchhikers is to ensure they have less hair on their legs than you do!
There you go - be safe todom, have fun, and watch out for whack jobs dressed up like Mario and Luigi (unless of course they have less hair on their legs than you do)!!!
