(no subject)
Yesterday Daniel and the rest of Winston Audio drove off in the big purple van they affectionately refer to as Leroy for a 17-day rock tour through a few of the midwestern united states. I am so proud of their new material and am amazed at their willingness to go play in unfamiliar places, not knowing where they will sleep from one night to the next. Goodnight's sleep and showers are never for certain. Last night, after a full day of driving, they all slept in their van--well, Daniel slept ON TOP of Leroy, but who's counting? I miss Daniel, but I will be able to keep myself busy for the next 2.5 weeks because:
a) I got a part-time job (finally) as a host at the Olive Garden. There is no such thing as a hostess anymore, apparently. We only have actors, hosts, and flight attendants. Pretty soon we won't even be allowed to use the word "boy" or "girl" or "mommy" or "daddy." It will only be PC to say "child" or "parent" or what have you.
b)I am going to see Sarah sing and dance in a production of Crazy for You in Lancaster, Penn. next week! The DeWitt siblings are pretty talented.
So, anyway, that's what I will be up to.
