(no subject)
last week i had an interview with a company and i am now invited back for an open house! i view this as being one step closer to being employed. woohoo! the only bummer is that the open house is during spring break and i wanted to be at home as long as possible. not going home until either monday evening or tuesday morning will cut a significant chunk off of my at-home time. but this should be good, because now i get to go to atlanta and pick up my real ring as well as spend some time with my family-to-be!
so susanna and i were working at the computer lab tonight and i glanced over at her screen and she was listening to winston audio's purevolume website. this not only made me really happy but it also inspired me to go listen too, as it has been quite a while since i've heard it. and it was...AMAZING. i normally listen to WA on my crappy laptop speakers, so hearing them on some nice headphones for a change was quite glorious. i invite you all to go take a listen and hear the new stuff they've got up. i hope you will be as impressed as i am. hopefully daniel won't kill me now for advertising his "unfinished" products.
okay, so here's something really creepy: i'm working in branscomb. it's 7:33pm. obviously, john is not here, so his door is locked. yet, there is the sound of some crazy music coming from behind john's locked door. i am scared.
today, i also had my first google chat experience with mrs. aubrey mckelvey. it was delightful. the emoticons on google chat are SO MUCH FUN!
