Dearest Malaysian and Male Cheerleader Neighbors,
I would first like to address the Malaysians, as they are closest to my heart today:
Here, in Tennessee, we abide by a system known as CST: it stands for Central Standard Time. That means, that during this time of year, the sun sets around 5:00 PM and rises around 7:00 am. It is called "night time." Generally, after it has been dark for approximately 5-7 hours, people get sleepy, and go to bed. This is called "bedtime." Bedtime is usually earlier on weeknights and later on weekends. Regardless, it is considered respectful to be QUIET during bedtime hours. Therefore, at 4:00 AM, it is not appropriate to watch your television set at extremely loud volumes, play your music at extremely loud volumes, laugh, yell, scream, make animal noises, or sing. This is especially true when you live in dorm rooms with very thin walls. This is even truer when your neighbor takes the time to walk across the room and bang on your wall--here is a hint for you: that banging is NOT the sound of hammering!! Believe it or not, just as it is not appropriate to yell and scream at 4:30 in the morning, it is also not appropriate to use a hammer. Thus, this banging is your very angered neighbor signaling you to be quiet. It would probably be a good idea for you to then turn off your TV and use your indoor voices--or better yet--go to flipping bed!!!!!!
here is a note to our wonderful male cheerleader neighbors: believe it or not, when you turn the volume up on your ILLEGAL guitar amp--the whole world can hear it. that is all I have to say to you now because you have not annoyed me in approximately 1 week. just beware...
Yes, it is true that I could invest in some ear plugs...oh, but wait! I just received a very nice pair of ear plugs from
someone who actually knows how to be CONSIDERATE! Unfortunately, I can still hear you. it seems that the only solution to this problem we have now would be for you to sleep at normal hours and begin to have some consideration for those who live just next door. You would make me quite proud if you did this. I might even bake you some cookies...
Kind regards,
MKT
