everything zen (I think so)

each poem
that may be understood
is a cypher

a cypher
is a symbol
which may
or may not
have a key
to its understanding

whether or not
the cypher has a key
is decided solely
by the creator
of the cypher

in a romantic sense
the creator is
a lock-maker

in an empyrical sense
the locksmith is
you.

The trick is
in the understanding;
in learning how to learn.

How sad it is

we do not know what grammar is
nor punctuation
nor math
nor art
nor religion
no poetry can heal this
sadness.

One person feels sad.
To feel some thing
grants ownership.
We own our

feelings, words, meanings, selves

but we do not own what they are.
For we do not understand this.

How happy I am that
we can
understand
that

first, we need love, food, shelter, and water;
second, that what we need is good;
third, that what we want is ours;
fourth, that what we have
we cannot want.

Life is like a blunt or cigarette or branch or
any line that has mass, and
begins at point A and ends at point B.

I know how a good blunt smokes
I know what the cherry is and I can tell you:
nothing
