Budweiser (USA)
http://www.budweiser.com/ My two-and-a-half cents:
What did you think... I forgot about my beer club? Oh hell naw! I want a book published of this shit when it hits like a thousand beers (is there that many beers in the world?).
Unfortunately, the only thing laying around after last weekend was Smirnoff Ice and Budweiser. Since bitch drinks do not and will never constitute being remotely related to beer by any stretch of the imagination, I had to go with the "King of Beers."
The taste of this pale lager is light and mellow with a bitter aftertaste. From past experience, drinking Budweiser warm is like sipping out of a toilet, so be forewarned. The smell is somewhat sweet and reminds me of the few Nascar races I've had the misfortune of going to in my life. One really good thing about Budweiser is how clean it goes down (i.e. perfect for drinking games). One thing that's very deceiving about Bud is the assumption that it's not as alcoholic as other "real" beers. In fact, it's 5% ABV is more than Guinness Draught (4.1-4.3%), Miller Genuine Draft (4.7%), and Sam Adams Boston Lager (4.9%). The absolute best thing about Budweiser is that it's almost always on sale, especially during big sporting events.
